“Make Everyone Happy”

I got this tattoo done on March 13 at 15th Street Tattoo Gallery in Edmond, Oklahoma by Matthew Gibson. It took four hours, which was my longest tattoo session. This is the sixth tattoo I’ve got done by him in the past year. All of his artwork/tattoos are fantastic. 

I got this tattoo because of the song “Make Everyone Happy/Mechanical Birds” by Modest Mouse. The song contains these lyrics, which are the ones that meant the most to me: “And I said you can’t make everybody happy, He said you’d like to at least make yourself happy though.” We all try to make others happy, but deep down, we only want to make ourselves happy.
